Ao’nung has a stalker.
Over the past few weeks Ao’nung would notice Neteyam’s ikran close by. Perching on the closest root where Ao’nung was weaving new baskets, or flying over the water where Ao’nung was hunting for fish with his friends.
Her eyes were always staring into his soul and Ao’nung was sure she had built a grudge against him back on that cliff that day.
After Neteyam shows Ao'nung what scenting is, his ikran suddenly takes a liking to him.

Genya knew he should’ve listened to his brother. He shouldn’t have wandered off. But the butterfly that kept fluttering around nearby was just so pretty and Nemi said that dinner wouldn’t be finished for another few minutes at least, so what was the harm in exploring for a little bit? You’d think with seven grown adults around, at least one of them had to have had their eyes on the little one. But nope, everyone was preoccupied– and Gyomei had an excuse since he was quite literally blind.

“Your hair is soft.” Genya muses, brushing his fingers through silver-white locks.
Sanemi’s wispy brow twitches, and Genya watches his eyes move behind his closed eyelids.
“Mm,” his older brother grunts.
“Its nice,” he twirls a piece of Sanemi’s bang around a gangly finger, before letting it slip loose. His hair doesn’t retain much curl unlike his own black hair, but it felt like running your hand through a fluffy cloud.
“It’s just hair,” Sanemi exhales through his nose. And Genya pauses briefly, he is learning to deal with it. This, that now Nemi carried a constant air of agitation to his thick skin, his gaze cut much more sharply. And Genya’s body was littered with wounds.
Sanemi’s eyelids crack open, his gaze takes a moment to refocus, before they settled on his little brothers frowny face.
“But thank you.”
