Cloud lifts his head and nods eagerly.
He got all of the monsters!
Praise him, now?
Praise, please?
Master smiles down at him and strokes Cloud’s head.
“Good boy.”
Cloud pushes up into the touch and preens.
He was good!
“Come.”
Master turns to leave and Cloud eagerly hurries after him. After a few moments, Master slows down, as if remembering that Cloud’s legs are shorter than his. That allows Cloud to catch up to Master, so he can walk by his side.
