Hashirama is ready to retire from the position of Hokage. He's already missed all the major milestones of his first three children and doesn't want to spend the rest of his life regretting missing them for the fourth, too. When he decides to pass the hat to Madara, there's just one sticking point. The ANBU Commander, his brother, Tobirama, has been living in the shadows as Hashirama's bodyguard since they were children for a reason. If he's going to turn over the hat, Madara will have to meet him, and while they know the Uchiha have a thing about red eyes, Hashirama doesn't know what it is. Madara refuses to explain.
