Quidditch was red. Her friends orange. Potions purple. The boys she fancied pink.
Blue was the stinging in her eyes after a lost match, and grasping her mother's hand at her grandfather's funeral, and the smudge of dirt by her eye and the scrapes on her knees when she buried her pet rabbit. Blue was her vision swimming when Frank kissed her that one time and she didn't know what to do because it didn't feel like it should. Blue was knowing she could feel it, because she'd felt it before; just not with him.
Blue was also Narcissa.

A she said, it was on the minds of many friendly countries that, given Narnia was now an up-and-coming, reasonably powerful nation, all of its rulers were young, and in the words of one rather disagreeable Telmarine lady, quite available.
