Summary
Every Link was once a child. Some of them were still children on their adventures. It made me wonder, who were the people who molded these kids into what they became? This is my take on each of the Link's guardians.

(Some just have moms, tbf)Originally, I was going to write each chapter in backwards order of when the games came out, but I lost track on like chapter two, so now it just starts with Wild, ends with Hyrule, and everyone else got shoved somewhere in the middle.

Summary
To most, the wind was unpredictable. Sometimes, it was an ally, letting sailors go by without so much as a complaint. Other times, though, it was dangerous. It destroyed towns, it destroyed homes.
It tore apart families, leaving those left behind mourning.
It really just depended on how the Wind Gods felt that day. They, or more specifically, Cyclos, didn't care for their pleas.
There's an important part to the first sentence. "To most". This boy, the young Wind Waker, Hero of Winds; the Gods favored him, one could say. And so, he didn't fear the wind. The wind protected him, after all. It was his guardian.

Summary
The Hero of Winds is a hero. Just not The Hero.
Yes, his name is Link.
Yes, he dressed in green.
However, the truth remains. In his timeline, the cycle of reincarnation was broken by the Hero of Time being sent back to his youth.
The Golden Goddesses drowned the world in revenge for Hylia's then-incarnations' actions.
They did not even care that it was Hylia's wish; they drowned the world they made for their sister and left.
Hylia was left alone, waiting.
Hylia is the Goddess of Time. Her land may have drowned, but she was still powerful.
And she remembers.
She remembers a future version of herself sending a group of boys throughout her tapestry of history.
Remembers a boy who shared their name but not their soul.
And she waits.
Link dreamt of a man wrapped in gold for as long as he could remember. Whenever he slept, he would see Him. The dreaming world looked different, the man-wrapped-in-gold changing it whenever he deemed fit.
The man-wrapped-in-gold was always there with him.
He referred to Link as Brother.
He said he has been waiting.Wind doesnt have the Hero's Spirit. The Hero's Spirit refused to accept that.
