He wonders who Lee thinks Gaara is thinking of—if Lee thinks that perhaps Gaara envisions Naruto above him, tracing the paths Lee has drawn under his skin.
He doesn’t. He never has. The only person he ever thinks of like this is Lee, the only person he ever wants like this is Lee.
But Lee bites off his words when he comes, and Gaara is too afraid to ask him to speak.
