Peter Parker was forgotten. No traces of him was left. His existence was consumed whole by the mystery of the world, and yet his trail of guilt and mistakes will follow him until he finally disappears from the universe.
Slowly but surely, he was building his life from scratch. Forged his own documents and made his existence known to everyone except his loved ones. It was better that way. They would be protected just by not knowing Peter Parker.
He thought he had created a solid foundation until all of it came crashing down during a fight as Spider-man with the Avengers.
It was supposed to be a normal everyday alien invasion, but the aliens were more advanced and his past loved ones got involved. Reckless he is, he took a power beam directed at them straight to the heart to protect them.
He then felt his vision black out and he thought that if this is how he dies, then he'll happily accept it.

The ripples caused by Cyrene/Elysia/Demiurge/THEM would normally simply result in things going as they should, exactly As They Have Written. Yet, unbeknownst to all, it seems Fate had a different idea. Perhaps it is a whim of something more powerful than even the Aeons themselves, should such a thing exist; perhaps it is simply the result of innumerable loops, the likes of which make even The Eternal Recurrence look small. Perhaps it is simply random chance. Most likely, however, it was simply Aha doing Aha things. But regardless, something has now changed. Something new has entered the board.

Dan Heng does not dream.
The moment his egg had cracked, he had seen the clear reflection of the light that the artificial sun produced hitting the water he was surrounded by. His eyes glanced up at it, as if in a daze, no matter how much it stung.

Dan Heng, since his hatching rebirth, always had a special place to retreat to. One where two figures who called themselves Long and Yaoshi, as well as what looked like an older version of himself, rested, looking after him in their own, very distinct, way.
Despite their weird existence, even after learning what they were named after, he did his best and tried to weave his own fate without letting them lend a hand.
However, when a Stellaron burst occurs in the Luofu and the Astral Express comes to help, weird things seem to start happening around Dan Heng, making him uncover more and more mysteries regarding the entities living in his head, each weirder than the last.
