As they lost themselves in the kiss, the world around them seemed to fade away, until there was nothing but the two of them, the soft rustling of pages, the distant murmur of voices, and the steady thrum of their hearts beating in unison. One hand tenderly stroking Lyney’s cheek, the other gripping his fingers tightly, as if afraid to let go. It was a moment that seemed to stretch on forever, a perfect, crystalline instant of connection and understanding, of two souls finding each other. And when they finally broke apart, breathless and flushed, there was a new light in their eyes, a glimmer of something that hadn't been there before. It was the beginning of something beautiful, something precious and rare, and they both knew that they would do whatever it took to nurture and protect it.
A beautiful melody, composed by their heartbeats, only for their ears to hear. So Lyney listened, carefully and attentively.
And he quickly realised, that every beat of his heart seemed to whisper 'Aether'.
OR five times (or a little bit more) Lyney and Aether kiss as sorta-friends and one time as something that’s definitely more than friends.
