Summary
Shuriken is the type of imphernal to just keep to himself. He doesn't like unwarranted attention nor to interact with other imphernals. He just wants to keep to himself. Sure that made him a loner but he doesn't care.
It's better to keep to himself and let his repetitive routine of danger and secrecy shroud his life.
Unfortunately, Shuriken catches the interest of somone unexpected now he has to just deal with it. The glaring curiosity of a deity is not something to handle lightly.
It just invited chaos to his life.

Summary
Shuriken always thought that he had his life under control, even when said control was kind of sloppy. However controlling unprompted transformations into a dragon turns out to be way more difficult when he's out of his comfort zone. Being a vigilante at night whilst also working for your sibling's cafe during the day, isn't that just fun?
At least he isn't hooked up into some stupid romance. That would certainly make everything worse.

After suddenly waking up in the middle of the night, the first thing Slingshot noticed was how quiet it was. While normally, it would be quiet since everyone was supposed to be asleep, his roommate, Shuriken, was a bit of a loud snorer.
That was the understatement of the year. Shuriken snored hecka loud. He always had to sleep after Sling and Vinestaff, otherwise, neither of them would be able to sleep at all.
Slingshot slid out of bed and tiptoed before Shuriken's room, easing the door open.
No one was there.
Absolutely no one.
He checked the rest of the apartment, unease curling tighter with every empty room. Surely Shuriken didn’t decide to leave in the middle of the night, right?

Summary
Shuriken isn't one to make friends. He tends to avoid interaction with inphernals he doesn't know, often working in the kitchen in the café while with his siblings, or staying home when his siblings go out with their friends. He'd rather stick to himself, he likes it that way. Even if his siblings tease him about it.
But after an unfortunate incident with an angry inphernal, Leaving Shuriken weak and wounded, he meets a stranger that manages to break the barrier he held for ages, and Shuriken starts feeling things he has never felt before.
