He wishes he could always have this.

In the midst of celebration after the defeat of Rerir, Aether had convinced Dainsleif to stay another night at The Flagship. Considering the hour and convenience of a bed, Dainsleif agreed. If he was privy to the fact that Aether was attempting to pull him out of his funky mood and into the fanfare that was happening around them, well, he didn’t quite object. Nor did he in the quiet moment that befell after; When the crowd thinned out and it was just him and the traveler at the door to his room.
