Summary
Lu Guang felt empty.
After getting his wounds dressed, taking a shower, and being questioned by the police about everything that had happened, he had the strange sense of drifting inside a soap bubble, cut off from reality, able to observe it only through a blurred, distorted surface.
He sat in a holding room at the station, staring at the takeout in front of him. He hadn’t touched it for half an hour. He had no appetite.
Then the sound of a door opening broke the silence.
