Diluc works the bar at Angel’s Share every Friday night. When a Fatui diplomat starts showing up, determined to get to know Mondstadt’s most fiery and unrelenting bartender, Diluc struggles to acknowledge that Fatui are people in their own right, with their own thoughts and drives. Where Childe seems determined to get to know Diluc, Diluc is trying to pack away his internal monologue and remind himself that this is it: this is the life he was given, and this is the life he deserves. He does not get to want for things.Least of all for a pretty Snezhnayan diplomat.

It’s so familiar but so different. The way they move together, Dewey holding on to Isaac, pulling him closer and the way that Isaac’s hand roams Dewey’s body, pressing against his chest, then moving down to grip at his ass and thigh.
Everyone knows that Isaac and Dewey are close. He’s probably the idiot for not knowing they were this close.

Summary
It’s been a little over a month since Diluc returned to Mondstadt, and rumors of a mysterious Darknight Hero started to spread. He isn’t fond of the title, but Diluc’s found a way to serve Mond on his own terms, and he isn’t going to let go of it just yet. When the Knights of Favonius are eerily quiet after a group of adventurers go missing in Dragonspine, Diluc resolves to climb the storming mountain and find them himself.
But nothing goes to plan. As he runs into the Eleventh Fatui Harbinger while searching the mountain, Diluc is confronted with the revenge he thought he gave up, and begins to question if this whole Darknight Hero business is flawed to begin with.
