And then ... eyes, just like the ones on Kaufmo's abstracted figure, she remembered. It was only one large one at first, opening slowly in a part of one wall, its multicoloured iris moving rapidly around the space of its neon pink sclera, as if looking around.
Then there were more.
They spread like the bubonic plague itself, smaller eyes initially encircling the larger one imitating the neon theme, then they ran in both directions of the wall, opening slowly to reveal their captivating, intimidating hues.
