Summary
Here’s how this story goes: in the year Xuanzheng 25 the four great clans siege the Burial Mounds, intent to rid the world of the last of the Wen and their leader, the Yiling Patriarch.
In another world, the ground ends up even more soaked with blood, the Wens are all slaughtered but for one, and Wei Wuxian dies, torn apart by the fierce corpses he once controlled.
But this is not how this story goes.(Wei Wuxian ends the First Siege in a much different way. The Cultivation World is left to try and understand it).
