Summary
“’m just so damn stupid,” Arthur forces out through gritted teeth. “When Dutch starts talking all fancy-like, I ain’t got a damn clue what he says.”
“That doesn’t make you stupid, Arthur,”
“Yeah, it does."

Summary
“I crashed,”
The boy began hoarsely, the words soft and miserable as if he knew this wasn’t news to anyone. He had been an idiot. He was an idiot. All that he was grateful for was that the exact circumstances of his fall were unknown. Still, they could probably sense the shame rolling off of him. Hosea huffed, the sound unclear in nature.
“I know.”
Or, Arthur Morgan gets a bit too confident on his horse and experiences the consequences.

Summary
“Ah, he just ran off somewhere. It'll be fine, son.” Dutch waved a dismissing hand.
“I’ll go find him,” Arthur grumbled, replacing his scarf with a small huff, "I guess."
Dutch laughed, the kind that probably meant something but that Arthur was not going to pretend to understand. Some untold truth, a subtle irony, and for a second Arthur felt he could understand it. Then he pushed the thought aside and marched outside.

Summary
It was an interesting thing, Comfort. Sure they were typically on the run, whether that be other gangs or the local towns law enforcement, but Arthur came to realize that it wasn't the places they'd go that brought him comfort, it was Dutch and Hosea that brought on calm. He'd only met the two 6 months ago, after his quite pathetic attempt at robbing Dutch.

Summary
Arthur Morgan died on a mountain, alone. He knew this. He remembers this, felt the breeze running through his hair like he distantly remembers his mother doing, the sun warming his face. His tired body seemed to relax slowly, slowly, till there was nothing left but the ghost of a smile and blue eyes turned to the sky.
So why is it so damn cold?
Disclaimer: not beta read (yet), ongoing fic
i.e. Arthur Morgan dies. He was not expecting a second chance.
Then again, neither was Sean Macguire.
