There’s a glow coming from somewhere, probably something left on the stage, backlighting not-Paul into a silhouette with two empty blue eyes. It rises to its feet, swallowing Emma in its shadow. A spotlight in reverse.
“Lovely songbird, you’re a hard girl to please… but then again.” Somehow, she can see the glint of its smile, too. “Here you are, on your hands and your knees.
“Perhaps if nothing else can get you to sing, it’s worth trying one last thing.”
A pause, like the cosmos holding its breath.
“E-Emma?”
And then Paul Matthews collapses to the ground.

You have stepped outside with the Princess before, and you think of those vessels now, but you know it’s different this time. It’s clearer. More final.
More real.
You give the door the slightest nudge, and it slips open without so much as a creak.

Summary
Dreams, memories, nightmares… what's the difference?
Logically, Peacemaker should be more excited than he's ever been in his entire life. He's attending Jade Mountain Academy, the school of his dreams, where he'll meet dragons from other tribes, learn way more than he ever could in the NightWing village, and maybe even get to show off his culinary skills. But instead of excitement, the hybrid dragonet just can't shake his nerves.
And maybe Peacemaker's nerves weren't wrong; arriving at Jade Mountain heralds terrifying new dreams, and all he can see in them is blood. One of his clawmates is harboring a deep distrust of him and another only speaks in riddles and poems, he keeps overhearing the school staff talking about him when he's not around, and worst of all, there are rumors of a ghost haunting Jade Mountain and killing off its students.
So when the world is threatened (again) by nightmares given life and a danger from the depths of Pyrrhia itself, Peacemaker has to fight to protect his new home… but how are you supposed to fight yourself?

Summary
It's the end of the world. Or, well, it's about to be, pretty damn soon. The false God has grown bored of His livestock, the resource of humanity's worship and fear seemingly beginning to run dry, or at least to cease providing the sufficient resources They desire. Either way, It's planning to wrap up Its business with this planet soon and leave nothing in Their wake but a burnt husk when He moves onto the next sorry little world to drain the life out of. There are just a few pieces of Its plan it needs set in motion before They can properly wrap things up.
Then again, the power of found family is a funny thing. Perhaps God has underestimated humanity's persistence.
