The suitors wait for the Queen of Ithaca's bond mark to disappear, however they're getting restless. Meanwhile, Telemachus takes it upon himself as the only other royal omega to distract 108 men with the prospect of being his mate. None had succeeded until one alpha managed to leave their mark. The ladies cheered as Merlin gathered the butterflies together, then made them fly in some sort of pattern that was meant to be impressive. Arthur grimaced, but he couldn't take his eyes off Merlin.
The idiot was enjoying this, but why shouldn't he? It was the most attention he had ever received in his life. Ever since he was free to practice magic openly, the ladies at court and the girls of the city had given him their admiration, even going as far as flirting with him sometimes. It was more than Arthur could stand, but what was he supposed to do? Admit that he was jealous of a bunch of girls?
Or: Ever since Merlin has been free to practice magic, he's become very popular with the ladies. Much to Arthur's annoyance.

She has the look on her face she always gets when she’s dead-set on something, but beneath that is something imploring—like she truly wants the rest of them to be dead-set on this, too. It's the very expression that has made it impossible for Steve to say no to her all these years, and without meaning to, Steve glances at Jonathan.
He isn’t surprised to find the same recognition he feels reflected on Jonathan’s face, too. But alongside that expression is something resembling what Steve’s pretty sure is...acceptance. As though, just like Steve, Jonathan already knows he’s going to cave.

After Star Court, Nancy and Jonathan notice the distance Steve is putting between them and worry he's realized trying to make the three of them work is too complicated; especially when they see just how comfortable he is around Robin.
