The sound of sirens grew louder in the distance, which was replacing the odd ringing that seemed to take over the scene. Behind him, Scott scrambled to his feet. Abolish shoved the gun back in its holster and the now-broken stake bits into the nearby gutter.

    His gums were fucking hurting again.

    Seemingly out of nowhere and with no warning, Pyro returns to Tegrith, set on picking his life right back up where he left it eight years ago. Scott has no idea what to think about the man who used to be his best friend, who abandoned them all once, but is now promising that he's here to stay.

    Especially with how he's saying that he's back for Scott specifically.

    Both of them have changed in their time apart, but Scott swears that there's something different about Pyro. Has he just matured? Did he go though something awful while away from home? Or is it something more?

    On top of Scott's whirlwind of conflicted emotions, Tegrith is threatened by a strange corrupting force like no one has ever seen before. Except maybe Pyro...
