    Near the end of her pregnancy Concubine Gyokuyou is attacked in the middle of the night. Maomao steps in to defend her and while fighting for her life ends up taking the life of the attacker while sustaining serious injuries.

    While Jinshi steps in to care for her physically, Maomao deals with the mental turmoil of taking a life.

    With Maomao vulnerable and Jinshi doing his best to be patient with her, something begins to bloom between them.

    Complete self-indulgent slow-burn/fluff because I'm sad we didn't get it when Maomao saved Jinshi.

    One of my favorite fics, I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for updates (I will wait as long as it takes for this delicious feast to finish). An AU which follows the plot of Dispatch but Robert pretty much has a return by death superpower. Of course, no one knows about it, until they do, and shit hits the fan. Lots of processing, lots of angst, Flambert big feelings. But resolution is on the horizon! Hopefully everyone gets a hug.

    He feels optic fluid run down his faceplate. No one is coming. He had run his servo around the walls on the first day, and it didn’t even seem like this room had a door. He really was just left in a box to rust away. If it was someone who wanted information, there would have been questions. If someone wanted to just kill him, there were far easier ways. If he was to be sold to the highest bidder as a slave or just a trophy, he would be on display and better fed.

     

    Whoever has him must hate him. Maybe there was a camera out of his reach just recording this torture.

    Rodimus was finally happy. His life had improved so much with Megatron as his co-captain, only for it to be ripped away from him because of one stupid mistake. Now who was he supposed to become? Tarn's words sooth his aching spark, maybe Tarn will be the one to free him from his guilt?

    Rodimus doesn't want to be alone anymore- Never again.

    Honestly, my favorite fanfic of all time. I love this AU, the way the original story weaves with original content is just a delight. I can't wait to see how the rest of this fic will play out! I need Zagreus, Thanatos, and Callisto to have a happy ending otherwise I will cry and cry and cry. Angst with soon to be resolution my beloved.
