That’s how this fanfic was born, thanks to fellow daydreamers who wanted a super ultra canon-compliant story starting way back when the boys were just trainees, slowly becoming Stray Kids, with all our favorite ships and those iconic moments only Stays truly understand.
We’re talking debut chaos, legendary eras, dramatic comebacks, questionable hair colors, so much love, and yep plenty of drama. Also: misunderstandings, romance, (hopefully) a truckload of smut, all 8 POVs, and lots of comedy to balance it all out.
We’re kicking things off in 2017, with each Stray Kid arriving and beginning their own personal journey.

More and more videos kept appearing on his phone, and Minho forgot about the world around him. He even forgot about the group's comeback announcement and the world tour reveal. But those could wait. Right now, he needed to keep an eye on his man.

"God, you still feel just as good as you did a year ago, Lix," Hyunjin murmured, still perfectly holding his pose for the lens. Felix bitterly loathed hearing the nickname he usually only reserved for his absolute closest friends.
"I hate you," he hissed into the minuscule space dividing their lips.
"I know," Hyunjin’s voice dropped a full octave, losing its mocking sarcasm for the first time as his fingers sank deeper into the blonde’s waist. "But you still think about me, don't you? You’re absolutely dying to fall that low again..."

Summary
Felix should’ve known from the beginning that Hwang Hyunjin would be the death of him. It was minuscule attraction, an insignificant crush that really shouldn’t have meant anything at all. Sure, it festered in the bottom of his gut, caused his heart to race and the back of his throat to itch, but it didn’t mean anything.
Hyunjin is kind to him, sure, but only because he has to be. For better or for worse, they’re not friends and they have no reason to talk all that often. Hyunjin has a boyfriend, is Felix's older brother’s bestfriend, is beloved by seemingly everyone he meets. Hyunjin has a million things going for him and doesn’t need Felix tagging like a lost dog.
Yet, a red rose embeds itself inside of Felix's lungs, forcing him to confront the fact that everything he feels for Hyunjin is far worse than mild attraction.

After watching him from across the stage for a long stretch, an undeniable impulse finally drew him close. He reached out and pulled the jacket open further to expose more of his abs, actively trying not to let his fingers brush against his skin. It wasn't because of what the crowd or the staff might think—it was because a single touch against that skin would leave him tenting his pants right then and there. Felix laughed, flexing his core to make his abs cut deeper, and in that exact split second, Hyunjin caught sight of the faint freckles dusting those toned muscles.
