Summary
Cliff would probably remember if he was there when Ilya met a woman so earth-shattering that he would chase after her for nearly a decade. Probably. Cliff thinks he would probably notice something as life-altering as a meeting like that. Who on earth is this woman and how did they find each other? Did Cliff watch Ilya’s life change before his eyes and not even realize what was happening?
In the fall of 2017, Cliff Marlow notices evidence of Jane all over Ilya’s apartment. He decides to investigate.

Summary
Yuna getting stuck in an elevator with Ilya for two hours doesn't change everything... but it changes some things. Like Yuna getting to be on a first-name basis with Ilya a full year before her son is.
(Part 2 (the smutty part) is not actually essential reading if you are not in the mood for smut!)

Summary
Several years into Rozanov’s career, ESPN hires a reporter fluent in Russian.
Suddenly able to answer questions fluently and with a wide vocabulary, Rozanov’s interviews go viral. Hockey fans around the world get a new look at what they thought about Boston’s #81. This changes not only his public persona, but his whole life.
Inspired by the look on NBA star Nikola Jokić’s face when he was asked a question in his native Serbian and my own struggles learning a new language.

Summary
“So I met Ilya Rozanov.” His mom said, aiming for casual over their weekly lunch meeting.
“Okay….” Shane said carefully, anxious as to where this was going.
“I gave him your number.” Yuna said, pinning Shane with her gaze.
“What?” Shane choked out panic rising high in his throat. Oh my god. His mother was an insane person.
“Relax. I ran into him at the store, so he doesn’t know who I am or who you are. I just told him it meant so much to see him being so open about his sexuality in the NHL, and I told him I had a son who was anxious about that, who also claims he can’t find himself a husband and give me grandkids before he retires, which he disagreed with by the way, so I gave him your number so he can tell you that himself.” Yuna shrugged like she didn’t just say about twelve consecutive crazy things at once.
