Like, I mean—with sex, you take the lead plenty with other things!” He turns, a jerky motion, and grabs at a dish towel. “I was just asking specifically about…that,” he explains, as if it could have been unclear. His hand is visibly shaking when he starts swiping it over one of the already half-dried plates in the dish rack, and Katsuki frowns at the tremoring. This isn’t what he thought Eijirou was gonna ask about—
He keeps talking. “Just, like. I don’t know—” Eijirou shrugs. “Just being more…like, being more, um, dominant, you know? Am I making sense?” He trails into a sheepish laugh, moves to the next plate in the dish rack. He still isn’t looking at Katsuki. “Just—wondering if you’ve thought about it.”
Katsuki looks at him. “Not really.” He’s only being honest. He continues to look in hopes that it will get Eijirou to meet his gaze, stop being so shifty. But he knows he’s said the exact wrong thing when Eijirou’s shoulders hitch up and the back of his neck and his ears flush.
“Oh. Okay.” He sounds strangled. Well, shit.

Nepenthe; in ancient Greek text, it was described as a drug to forget sorrow or grief. Yoichi believed in no such things. Obliviousness to something as painful as that would be a miracle, and brushed it off in whatever text it was mentioned in.
After being saved from the clutches of his own mortality, however, he started to wonder maybe if Nepenthe was less of a drug, and more of an induced feeling. If anything, the hand that reached out to save him soothed whatever past haunted him.
