Summary
The start was closer to a mosaic than a tapestry, full of glassy speckles of greys and golds. She admired each burst of colour as her gaze combed along the fabric to the first clear image. The scene was enwreathed in storm clouds, erratic and pained. They circled around the two focus’s of the spectacle—A woman, slick with ichor, climbing out of a man’s skull—
Oh. That was her.

Athena has survived a lot. Her fathers head for one, his lightning too—But rejection from a single mortal proves to be her undoing. How pathetic an end for a goddess like her.
Or it would be, if the fates hadn't decided to throw her a bone.

Summary
Gods were not meant to die. They were manifestations of concepts, they weren’t meant to pass on unless the idea they were made from became obsolete, and even then they simply went dormant. Though, Gods also weren’t supposed to debase themselves for the lives of mortals, so perhaps it was only fitting that one impossibility followed another.
And perhaps it only made sense that the Gods wouldn’t accept their newfound mortality.

In a haze of regret and grief, Zeus becomes frantic and desperate to fix his mistake. He enlists his brother Hades and Prometheus to help revive Athena, but their solution is crude. They aren’t powerful enough to bring her back unchanged, and to keep things like her immortality intact, other things need to be sacrificed. Most noticeable of which, was her age. Perhaps though, this is an opportunity to make things better then they ever were.

Wednesday, contrary to popular belief, did have fears. One of her elusive fears was in fact a fear of the dark; the idea of something hiding just out of sight was terrifying to her, but someone finding out about this fear of hers was even more scary.
So when Enid came across Wednesday crying in the woods after being attacked, it was safe to say that she was petrified.

The One Wish Willow still sits unbroken in his bag after much frantic checking; that is thankfully the case, and Bear intends to keep it that way.
Or: Bear Bailey gets a second chance to make things right. Even if the sins of his past are eating him alive. He won’t make the same mistake again.

Semiu, the receptionist, leaned over the counter as her eyes gleamed with a rare, unadulterated mischief. She examined the offering carefully.
“Well,” she hummed, tapping a perfectly manicured nail against her chin. “That’s new.” She activated her choker, her voice dripping with syrupy delight:
“Zanka Nijiku to the front desk, please. You have a… personal delivery.”
In which, Zanka recieves quite a parcel from an unnamed individual containing homemade treats and... a ring?!

Zanka was suddenly disguised as a girl before he even realized what was going on. One second he’s walking into a briefing, the next he’s in a wig, lashes, and signed up to fight in an underground boxing tournament.
That’s not even the worst part.Because somehow —somehow— he looks good. Like, really good.
And as it turns out, his rival Jabber would agree.
Now Zanka’s juggling a top-secret mission, a bunch of fighters trying to knock his head off, and one very confusing rival who keeps praising Zanka.. with.. Zanka.

A groan comes from below him, low and deep, and it has him freezing up completely and blinking, before whipping to glance down at what was underneath him.
Correction; at what he was sitting /atop of/.
He could feel it properly, now that he wasn’t distracted by the adrenaline rush, now that everything was stilling around him—them. He could feel the hips he was straddling, the lower stomach his ass was stationed on, and the hands that had somehow, intentionally or not, attached themselves to his waist.
Jabber’s hands. Jabber’s hands that were on his waist. Jabber’s hips that he was straddling. Jabber that he was situated atop of.
Jabber’s face—which was inches away from Zanka’s own, and purple eyes open to meet his blue.
