It had been a hullabaloo, in short- the investors had decided to take out the two Stonehearts for good then and there and were only thwarted by adrenaline-empowered, terrified IPC grunts whose first priority had been to transport their now infant superiors away. And en route, they had contacted Jade, who had been unable to deal with such a dire situation on hand by herself, that she had had no choice other than-
“Soldiers for the war of the Aeons? Soldiers of the war to the right of teething, more like-”
And then Sugilite broke into a fit of howling laughter, not unlike a hyena.
Jade could only make a face.
Or- Aventurine and Topaz get turned into babies while still retaining their memories. This is very amusing to Sugilite.
Only amusing, of course. What else could it be?

"Hey it's okay, can you tell me your name? Maybe I can find your parents" he asked gently, assuming they were underworlders based on his appearance.
"S-seppo.... Ilmarinen"

Frantic, she immediately crouches. As she does so, however, Venti finally stirs. When he next opens his eyes, looking at her, his eyes immediately widen. Then, in a too-small, too-uncertain voice, raspy and shaky, he whispers—
“Gunnhildr?”
Venti gets de-aged after a close call with Decarabian's god remains in Old Mondstadt. Jean (and others) care for him in the aftermath. In the process, Jean walks the same steps and reconnects with her ancestor before her.
