Hoping to not ruin the careful friendship he and Alastor managed to come to, he spoke softly, “Thank you again for the drinks. It’s been… nice.”
Alastor’s head tilted slightly. His eyes narrowed at the fallen angel.
“Nice?”
Lucifer shrugged. “Y’know, just-“ he waved his hand around the air as he tried to find the right words- “I quite enjoy your company. It’s been nice.”
Alastor, swirled his whiskey around his glass, his smile smaller than normal. “You’re too sweet darling,” he whispered, mostly to himself.
Well that’s new.
Lucifer’s head snapped up from the drink in his hands. He still hadn’t gotten used to angel, and now this? “… Darling?” He asked tentatively, hoping.
Alastor straightened up abruptly, taking a few small steps back from the bar. “Well there’s much work to do-” He adjusted his bow tie, jacket long gone- “I’ll see you tomorrow” Alastor departed, sinking into the shadows, leaving Lucifer alone at the bar.
He ran his hands through his hair, his heart pounding in a way he hadn’t experienced since he first laid eyes on Lilith, his ex-wife.

Lucifer frowned, confused.
“I mean… Yes? I still mix their names some times because my brain is funny like that, but otherwise I’m good.”
“You mean to tell me you cannot remember what you had for lunch yesterday, but you remember in detail faces you haven’t seen in millennia?”
“Well… You know how my brain works, Al” he chuckled. “Besides, I’m not exactly like you humans, in the sense of memory I’m not that… limited? I guess that would be the best way to explain it, yeah.”
The next statement coming out from the sinner’s mouth was made in a low —almost ashamed— voice, gaze fixed on Lucifer’s chest rather than looking straight at him.
“I… cannot remember my mother like that.”
Or
Alastor cannot remember his mother's features in detail and Lucifer offers to help with an accurate portrait (and a lot of teamwork). Oh, and he learns about creole culture in the process!

Father's Day, as no other would do.With Mother's Day having come and gone- it would have been the best one if not for Charlie's birth making it a close contender- Lucifer wanted to nothing more than to make sure that Alastor's day was just as special as the one the buck had given him.
Lucifer was already pregnant and progressing quickly so an announcement of said pregnancy would be a pointless gift.
Alastor certainly didn't need anything fancy, the buck always had what he needed when he needed it...

He’d be able to read Abel’s notes, that is, if the ship hasn’t already been programmed to reach the exact placement they need to get to anyway, before releasing the stellar bomb they are carrying into the sun.
And then they’ll all be safe – his friends, his family, Alastor, his home. All will be able to carry on living, without the imminent threat of darkness swallowing them up for good. If all goes well, the sun should be powered for another million years or so.

It started with his eye slowly opening. He’s covered in sweat—somehow freezing despite the blanket and his partner holding onto him. He tried to steady his breathing. If Olruggio woke up, he’d immediately know what was wrong. He’d touch Qifrey oh so tenderly, cupping his face into his scarred and calloused hands. He’d shush him with sweet nothings, that it was all just a dream. He’d kiss his forehead and lay Qifrey back into a peaceful slumber, hugging onto him tightly and giving him the pressure he needed to calm down.
Olruggio would do all of these things. Qifrey hated it.
