Summary
The bunker is too quiet, and Dean Winchester is crawling out of his skin. Six miles on the treadmill, a bruised set of knuckles on the heavy bag, a couple glasses of whiskey, none of it is enough to burn off the static in his head or the way his body won’t settle.
Then Cas walks into the gym barefoot, rolls his sleeves up, and offers Dean a simple solution:
“You need to hit something. I can take it.”
What starts as late night “training” turns into Cas pinning Dean to the mats again and again, calm and steady while Dean’s body betrays him in every possible way. Avoidance doesn’t help. Whiskey doesn’t help. Showers definitely don’t help.
Cas noticing absolutely everything, and very quietly wanting it too?
Yeah.
That might actually do the trick.Sparring, yielding, and learning there are much better ways to work off tension than running in circles.

Summary
Dean is drowning in guilt and nightmares. From kicking Castiel out of the bunker to letting an angel possess his brother, he has recently made some poor choices in tight corners.
A road trip up to snowy northern Minnesota for what they think will be an open-and-shut Wendigo case offers the tense, battered team a chance to refocus and bond. However, almost as soon as they get there, something is not right; the very forest itself seems to conspire against them.

Summary
A lacerated corpse and whispers of a monster draw Team Free Will to the west coast. Desperate for a break from Dean and Cas’ latest snit, Sam chases a lead on his own, only to vanish without a trace.
