Summary
“Do you want me to help you through it?” Eijun questions, idly running his fingers up and down Kazuya’s arm.
The soft sound of thudding against blankets brings Kazuya out of his thoughts. He flushes when he realizes it’s his tail wagging, embarrassed over his own excitement at the idea of Eijun helping him through his heat.
Beside him, Eijun laughs, delighted, and gives him a saucy grin. “It seems like you like that idea,” Eijun purrs.
“I don’t need anyone to help me through my heats,” Kazuya defensively mumbles.
“Never said you needed anyone,” Eijun responds, voice already rough. He presses his lips beneath Kazuya’s ear and nips at the flesh, deliberately putting his mouth anywhere except the sensitive gland because he knows it drives Kazuya crazy. “Just asked if you wanted.”

Summary
The person was not just anyone—there was a pair of pointed ears atop his head and a brown tail that stuck out from underneath the hem of one of Kazuya’s sweaters. The tail swished from side to side and Kazuya followed the movement with his eyes as he gradually processed the situation.
There was a shifter in his house. A shifter that was a cat… with brown ears and a tail… and a pair of golden yellow eyes. Kazuya could even see a distinctive stripe of black around the shifter’s neck showing off a collar, complete with a bow in the back and a bell in the front. There was only one answer to this extremely weird and sudden turn of events.

Summary
The bat clatters to the ground as it slips, forgotten, from Wakino’s fingers. Everything after that happens in slow motion.
Wakino takes a couple of hesitant steps forward, eyes glued to Sawamura’s figure.
And Kazuya doesn’t take his eyes off Wakino. As he pushes himself to a stand, Wakino bolts; rushing the mound. Not far behind, Kazuya rips his face guard off to carelessly toss it to the ground, and with a rough shake of his wrist, he flings his mitt away, sprinting to catch Wakino before he can reach Sawamura.
Sawamura goes into heat on the mound. Miyuki doesn't like the other teams reaction.

Summary
Miyuki Kazuya doesn't want to be in Okinawa. He should be with his team, but he's been sent here to continue his recovery after sustaining a near career-ending injury last fall.
The tides of the ocean bring together Miyuki and a mysterious, charming local. This man, Sawamura Eijun, shows Miyuki a different side of Okinawa through fantastical tales of the island's mythology. As Miyuki spends more time with Sawamura, he realizes that a month is not a very long time, after all.
Now, he needs to figure out how to say goodbye.
