The day Mike Wheeler breaks is a Tuesday. He would say ordinary, but in the midst of an apocalypse, even Tuesdays refuse to be ordinary.
But that was three weeks ago. And Mike’s remained in a similar state. Waking only to eat and drink or use the bathroom. He hasn't stepped into a shower, uttered a single word, or engaged in any activity beyond fixating on his wall. Everyone has tried speaking to him, but no one has had any luck. Owens believes it's a response to trauma, Mike's mind constructing this protective barrier to shield him from the relentless horrors that envelop his world. Will isn't quite sure. All he knows is that he wants his best friend back. And that he should have fucking been there.
