   Simon was shirtless.
   His jeans sat low on his hips and through the loops sat an enormous belt buckle. Long black hair had been pulled into a loose half-bun, with a few damp strands escaping to frame his face.

   Grace sincerely hoped he could survive just three days. That's all it would take.

   After adjusting to life with Grace and the Eridians, Simon thought his constant debilitating nightmares were finally over.
   Well, he thought.
   Until they started seeping into his waking mind too.

   Grace has been so happy to finally get along with Simon and develop a relationship, but what if he messes it all up? What if Simon hates him for the rest of his life?
   His dreams start to reflect his fears, making it harder to determine reality from dreams.

   Summary

   After Grace hears of a new ship and finds out theres a living human onboard, he's hit with a wave of strong and occasionally conflicted emotions. Those emotions are only strengthened once he finds out that human---Simon---seems just as traumatized, if not more, than Grace himself was

   And after Simon wakes up onboard an unknown spaceship with an alien and the kindest person he's ever met, he has to learn to regain his footing in a much kinder world than he's used to, alongside growing to understand the other human---Grace.

   Now they've got to figure out just how to handle and help eachother, even as their own feelings (and trauma) start bubbling out of control
