Nagisa’s inner monologue
“I’m Nagisa Misumi! Just your average, lacrosse-loving girl who’d rather eat chocolate than studying. But since I was four, life’s been a little... electric. My Quirk, Black Thunder, turned me into a human firecracker during a junior martial arts tournament. It lives in my hits—the more I move, the more it crackles. When I land a punch or a kick? BOOM! Black lightning everywhere. It makes my hair a mess and leaves my muscles in a total mutiny.
I wasn’t dreaming of being a hero alone. Izu-chan—Midoriya Izuku—has been my best friend since kindergarten. He had his All Might posters, and I had my Precure figurines. Different heroes, same heart. Neither of us knows how to back down.
We finally did it. We both took the U.A. Entrance Exam on the same day, and it was a total nightmare! Giant robots, chaos, and me screaming "Arienai!" while smashing metal and pulling people out of the way. I probably lost a million points playing lifeguard. Now, I’m staring at a screen that won't load. Did I do enough? And why hasn't Izu-chan texted back? We promised we'd do this together.
My heart is beating louder than a championship game.”
And then—
the screen loaded.
