Yuuji exhaled like he’d been holding that breath forever, a crooked grin spreading across his lips—fond and impossibly bright.

Summary
Yuuji had been experiencing some sort of separation anxiety— or whatever you call it when his omega couldn't help but drown in his nest with barely a mind to his health. When Megumi had walked through the door, his alpha instincts urged to find his omega after not receiving a single message the whole day.
Worry had etched deep in his bones due to some reason, when he found Yuuji, in his clumsy nest, clutching one of his sweaters to his nose while he had draped himself with nothing but Megumi's shirt and baby blue panties.
Before the alpha could utter a word, he was startled by the sudden pounce from his Omega. Yuuji barely tried to hide the sobs that ached to rip through him. An overprotective lilt seeped into Megumi's scent, his strong arms locking securely around Yuuji.
It was only after he had calmed Yuuji down— which took a lot of time considering the instant (whines) request asking Megumi to scent him— did he figure out the reason for his distress. “I felt anxious when I couldn't sense pheromones.”

If anyone were to ask Megumi what his relationship with Gojo was he'd have a quick and easy answer for that.
Gojo was his teacher. Simple as that.
Or at least it should have been as easy as that.
There was no doubt in anyone's mind that Gojo was Megumi's teacher. After all, he was the designated teacher for the first years at Jujutsu Tech and Megumi, alongside his classmates Itadori and Kugisaki just so happened to be those first years.
If it were as simple as that, though, Megumi wouldn't be questioning his relationship with his teacher.
Was Gojo simply his teacher?

...But Nobara's smile drops, and Megumi's heart drops with it.

Yuuji follows his gaze, looking up at the clouds. They're white and fluffy, moving lazily across the blue expanse.
"I don't know," he says honestly. "It would be cool, I guess. But I think it would be scary, too. Wouldn't you miss the ground?"
Megumi shrugs.
"I've never really liked the ground," he admits. "I've always wanted to be up high, looking down at the world. I'd love to see what it's like to fly."

Megumi took a step forward, towering over Yuji. He had grown taller over the years, giving him four inches on the younger boy. “Are you so sure about that?” He breathed. Their faces were close now, chests almost touching.
Feeling Megumi’s breath fan over his face wasn’t helping Yuji’s brain formulate a response. What was the question? Yuji had to tilt his head up to look at Megumi when he was this close, a fact that thrilled him. It wasn’t until his own caramel-colored eyes met dark blue ones that he realized just how close they were. “I’m… I’m sure. Yeah. Super sure,” he whispered.
Megumi just stared at him for a moment, letting the silence stretch. It wasn’t uncomfortable, nothing was uncomfortable between them. They had known each other for four years now, came back from the brink of death over and over, fought as allies and enemies. As much as Megumi tried to fight it, they had grown close. Which is exactly why he knew he could get away with his next move.
Yuji watched with rapt fascination as Megumi leaned forward, almost connecting their lips, but at the last second, he swept right and found Yuji’s ear to whisper, “You’re an idiot.”

Yuuji had a wet dream and it wasn't about the hot girls in the magazines he had, but it was about his best friend, Megumi!
It made him stare at his best friend for so long all day. When they were training together, when they were on missions, even when they were at the summer festival, Yuuji couldn't take his eyes off Megumi. Things got worse when he let his impulsive thoughts win.
"Megumi, you said you were curious about my fangs, right?"
Well, there was no turning back after this. It was either he'd die of embarrassment or die of curiosity.
"Yeah, why?"
"I want to sink my fangs into your skin, is that okay?"
Alright, Itadori Yuuji, it seemed like you dug your own grave.
Megumi blinked. He licked his ice cream slowly before pointing his finger at his neck. "Do you want to suck and bite me here?" Then he pointed to his chest, "or here?"
