Then, Fukase and Flower lose it. In a blink, they’re gone–Fukase is struggling to breathe while Flower slides off the couch.
Miki looks like she’s about to pass away from second-hand embarrassment.
“That’s my boy!” Fukase cheers through laughter.
Piko smacks him with a pillow. “Stop encouraging him!”
Or, Len gets put on trial for one of the stupidest reasons possible. Fukase and Flower can't take this shit seriously, and Piko and Miki realise they need new friends.

It's fine if they won't ever let him wash the metaphorical blood on his hands. He supposes that's just his lot in life.
Blood under his nails no matter how it ends.But he refuses to let himself fade out. She's dead and she's faded and she will be in the grave, nails manicured and red, and still and dead and perfect forever.
His aren't manicured, they're stained.
