Eddie chuckles and tells the truth. “You looked so comfy. And I missed you.”
Buck sucks in a breath beneath Eddie’s ear. “I missed you, too,” he whispers.

Summary
He’s fairly sure, in some faraway part of his brain, that Eddie doesn’t mean for him to climb onto the couch, slot his legs between Eddie’s, and collapse on top of him — Eddie’s chest his new favorite pillow.
He does know that’s probably not what he meant. But it is what Buck does.
Or, Buck's so, so tired. What's he supposed to do but take a nap on top of Eddie?

Eddie’s mouth twitched.
“You’re in my way.”
“You literally walked into me.”
Eddie stepped closer then instead of moving aside, one hand bracing lightly against the wall beside Buck’s shoulder so their bodies almost brushed. Buck’s breath caught embarrassingly fast.
“Maybe you’re just hard to avoid,” Eddie said softly.
And that — that absolutely sounded like flirting.
Or - over the years Buck and Eddie have spent many Sundays together but something about this Sunday hits very differently

Summary
Eddie’s eyes widen as the realisation fully sinks in. Buck’s life has been slowly, steadily migrating into the Diaz household, piece by piece, day by day. It’s not just the clothes or the shoes or the kitchen gadgets. It’s the little things, the details that have woven themselves so seamlessly into the fabric of their daily lives that Eddie hadn’t even noticed until now.
