Miles Edgeworth was not one to get distracted. Except when he sat in the library, staring out the window to see that man who ruined it all. Painting in the gardens, looking ever so beautiful, how could Miles not stare? Stare at his supposed childhood friend who was now ignoring him for whatever reason?
Miles wasn’t hurt—frankly, he didn’t care! It wasn’t like he wanted to reconnect either, he was simply… curious. Yes, curiously watching from the library window for a hideous pink sweater and a pair of heterochromatic eyes that weren’t supposed to be looking back at him.
Wait, what?
A ‘leave me alone’ or a ‘I know you like me’ would've done him in. He was ready.
“I want to teach you how to paint.”
That, he was not ready for.

The same cannot be said for his childhood best friend, Phoenix Wright, who changed completely from the emotionally inept child he once knew. Miles' sympathy for this flanderized, Shakespearean-like snake must be forgotten about if he wishes to protect the people he cares for most. That is, until he remembers who it is that he truly loves more than anything.
