The world was fictional.
A prewritten death was inevitable.You might as well just live like that... or at least, that was what you thought before that scam of tablet fell into your lap. On it was an app that connected you to the real world.

In the end, you only had one goal—stay close to your only tangible link to reality and get that wish ticket.
