Summary
Andrew was a good worker. He dresses appropriately, arrives on-time, he obeys the rules to the best he is able, he sits at his cubicle and gets to work, ignoring the everpresent heat between his legs and willingly repeats the mantras that hide underneath the office music.
Andrew WAS a good worker, and its high time he'd be next in line for a promotion.
(Some of the terminology and the way the company seems to work may require the first 2 chapters of WCW to fully understand, but this is technically supposed to be a standalone.)

Summary
Marsh travels to a certain village that marks the edge of civilization. Beyond it, there is a forest in which dwell all kinds of monsters and demons.
Marsh wants to research them.
The villages take exception to him seducing local women. As punishment, they are going to fulfill his wishes – they’ll make sure he can meet some curious forest creatures.

“A little,” Mr. Donovan chuckled, “Let the kid enjoy it, Edith, I’ll take care of him.” Camden couldn’t wait for Mr. Donovan to “take care of him.” He studied the drink for a moment, it was mixed something, knowing Mr. Donovan probably something sophisticated like a martini. There was something floating in the bottom of it. It looked like a white powder that hadn’t fully dissolved. Camden felt his heart rate racket up.
