Summary
Six years ago, Lucerys and Aemond blew up their families and the kingdom when they suddenly eloped to Driftmark and took themselves out of the battle for the throne. No one knows how or why they got together, but their marriage is valid, and their refusal is firm. But now the years of estrangement are about to come to an end when they are summoned back to court to once more pick sides in the ongoing battle for the crown. Unfortunately for their families, though, the side they pick is not the one anyone was expecting.
Tldr: Luke and Aemond are reborn and decide to live their lives for themselves this time around. Neither their families nor the realm is prepared for the consequences of this decision.

Summary
Presenting as the first omega since the Good Queen Alysanne, Lucerys Velaryon experiences the onset of his first heat during the chase at Storm’s End, where Aemond’s primitive alpha instincts cause a fatal loss of control over Vhagar. After dying beneath the waves of Shipbreaker Bay, he is reincarnated into a modern world where he battles systemic misogyny and becomes a workaholic nurse. Then, following a (likely caffeine-induced) heart attack, he is reborn once more with the full memories of both his past lives. Determined to see his mother sat on the Iron Throne and his family safe, he plans.

Summary

The three Velaryon princes will never sit on the Iron Throne, but their lives will surpass that legacy. They may not be truly born of salt and sea but they are Velaryons. Laenor’s greatest achievements. Not Rhaenyra’s. What could be called a Dance still happened, but the three eldest sons of Rhaneyra are neither Black nor Green, and the cost as such affects both sides. And all of Westeros will mourn what could have been.

Summary
In a world where Prince Lucerys Velaryon and his brothers are the uncontested trueborn sons of the late Prince Consort Ser Laenor Velaryon, Vaemond Velaryon still tries to steal the inheritance from the young heir, because in every universe, Vaemond Velaryon is a greedy over overambitious schemer.
With no legitimacy issues to call into question, this is my take on Vaemond's petition and the chaotic dinner afterwards.
This is a sort of prequel to my other ongoing fanfic "Can the Cut stop bleeding" because it gives backstory to some upcoming chapters.
