Summary
Shadamy Week Day 3: Enemies to Lovers/Height Difference
A 'continuation' from the end credits of Sonic 3, with Metal Sonic, Shadow's Signal, and Amy's arrival.
After Amy saves Sonic from a swarm of Metal Sonics outside New York, the trail leads to an abandoned G.U.N. relay station buried in the mountains. Shadow is already there, following a signal tied to his own designation, and Amy isn’t about to let him disappear into whatever trap is waiting ahead.
She has every reason to suspect him. He has no patience for another one of Sonic’s friends getting in his way.
And neither of them is ready for what happens when the station comes alive around them, the exits start closing, and the enemy at their side becomes the one thing keeping them alive.

“On it.” Dick sprang to his feet and rolled his shoulders back, and suddenly Nightwing wasn’t just a story Clark had shared with a little boy all those years ago. “That’s my cue. See you around, Supes.”
“Of course. Real quick, though,” Clark added, a little desperate. “If he’s not like…that, then what is Bruce actually like when he’s drunk?”
“My friend,” Dick said, holding Clark by the shoulders in mock seriousness. “Perhaps one day you will know—but today is not that day.”
“Right, of course, sure.” Bats and their secrets. “Be careful out there, buddy.”
“Always am,” Dick said, lying through his teeth as he dropped ever so casually from the building.

Summary
Tim's dad is dead, killed by a boomerang to the chest, and Tim is an orphan now. He knows Bruce would adopt him if needed but he couldn't possibly impose himself on the Wayne's more than he already has. It's okay though, because he has a plan for this, he just needs someone to play the role of his estranged "Uncle Eddie".
Except... the guy he hires is weirdly concerned about his well being and Tim can't figure out why.
Meanwhile, Jason Todd is forced to reevaluate his plans for his debut as Red Hood, because, as it turns out, his replacement is a suicidal idiot who can't be trusted to stay out of trouble.
OR
Tim Drake fails to recognize Jason Todd, back from the dead, and hires him to be his Uncle Eddie to avoid getting adopted by Batman. Somehow this ruins everyone's plans.
