    Summary

He’d split a rock on his head as a child. He’d ripped a nadder’s head from its shoulders as a baby. He’d been made chief when his father died to dragons, and as chief he’d watched his Valka miscarry for years only to be snatched away by dragons from their only surviving child; and, nearing what should have been the end of his time as chief, his heir and son had gone missing, probably because of dragons too. And he’d survived that. The people of Berk were tough, worn and weathered and rooted down into the earth like the mountain against whose base they had settled.

But Stoick wasn’t so certain anymore that they could survive much longer. Hiccup was gone, but the village still skirted disaster; Astrid was his heir, but the Berk she was inheriting was char and charcoal.

After Hiccup went missing Stoick's certainty in victory against dragons disappeared too. A mysterious Dragon Master offers hope, but hope is a man with a Night Fury for a shadow and a power that brought the tyrant who last bore that title to his knees.

    Summary

Anakin and Ahsoka get caught in a baffling and sudden twist of the universe that throws them back in time, just after the events of Melida/Daan, where they meet a certain Jedi Master... and his young apprentice.

Ahsoka nearly stopped dead in the hallway when she saw them. Master Jinn looked the same as earlier, tall and graceful and collected, but it was the boy with him that made her do a double take. He was a Padawan, definitely, and must be Qui-Gon’s at that--he was standing close, just a little bit to the side and behind--but only barely, perhaps only a year or two into his apprenticeship, if that. He was tall for his age, taller than her, even though she was definitely several years older than him, but his youth showed clearly on the baby fat around his round face and body. His Padawan cut was sharp, almost awkward, the exact same unflattering cut they gave all haired, humanoid Padawans at the beginning of their apprenticeship before they decided how they’d like to personally modify it within the guidelines.

    An extremely new Padawan, then.

    Summary

An attempt to open diplomatic relations with an isolated moon go poorly. No one realized quite how extreme the beliefs of this stranded community had become in the decades since their break from the rest of the system, and this failure of communication leaves Obi-Wan's life - quite literally - hanging in the balance as a storm brews on the horizon.

    Summary

To have one’s braid cut is a joyous celebration. To cut one’s own braid—using a green saber with a hilt too large in one’s shaking hand—this is a funeral, for two. Gone in this moment are both Master and Padawan. In their place kneels a single, lonely Knight, feeling far too small for this vast universe.

His eyes skim across the brightly colored beads, dancing over each glistening gem of memory strung along the woven history of his life. Red. Green. Blue. Gold. Black. Clear crystal, for apprenticeship, sits nearest to the severed edge, slipping free of the singed hairs and spilling into his hand. What joy had swelled in his heart the day he first twined it into the hopeful tuft of hair he had allowed to grow long towards the waning of his Initiate years.

    Obi-Wan Kenobi remembers Qui-Gon Jinn.
