“Geto Suguru,” Gojo thunders, “I am unfortunately only left with you for my choice of companion. Like it or not, if I want to travel and complete my thesis, you need to come with me. I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make this arrangement work.”
Geto really, really does not want to have any sort of relation to Gojo Satoru at all. He ends up globetrotting with him anyways as his unwilling dining companion and very enthusiastic horrible food partner.

After a few quick Google searches of some very obscure, extremely unsettling keywords, later Satoru finds a viable target for his first-ever chain letter. A very, very interesting-looking target.
Meet Gego Sugoiru: founder and leader of the Believers of Monkeyism. He’s an absolute saint with countless testimonials from astonished individuals remarking on his amazing ability to cure all their ailments—including unknown, potential, and future ailments—at the even more amazing price of ¥70,000 per hour. Nothing about monkeys, much less “monkeyism” is mentioned though. But he's great with children…are they the monkeys?
This guy is definitely a fraud. A cult leader at best. Or worst, depending on how one felt about it.
He’s the perfect target.
In a fit of boredom, Gojo fucks around a bit too much when straying away from his CEO day job and gains a side hustle as a chain mailer. Elsewhere in Tokyo, Geto becomes a scam caller to double up on rent payments. They hit it off immediately for better or worse.
