    Midoriya Izuku—an apparent vigilante and ghost who has found himself dead with no memory of ever being a vigilante.

    Shinsou Hitoshi—someone who is willing to do anything of fulfilling his dream of getting into the UA hero course.

    Izuku needs a living person to help investigate his death, and Hitoshi needs someone to train him for heroism. With the help of a villain attack, the two cross paths and they strike up a deal.

    Izuku helps Hitoshi become a hero and Hitoshi helps Izuku find out how he died. Easy enough, right?

    If only that were true.
