Summary
Five years after their disastrous date in Ba Sing Se, Jin and Zuko (or rather, "Lee") run into each other once again when "Mushi" finally returns to reopen The Jasmine Dragon. Zuko is surprised when he sees Jin dressed in an expensive silk dress with fine embroidery and an intricate hairstyle complete with a luxurious gold and jade hair piece. On the other hand, Jin is taken aback when she sees how much "Lee" has loosened up, and how easy it seems for him to smile and laugh in contrast to how she remembered him.
As fate would have it, Zuko wasn't the only one who had something to hide back when they first met. Little did he know that the pretty, down-to-earth girl from the tea shop was actually Earth Kingdom royalty in disguise, raised by peasants in the slums of Ba Sing Se for the sake of her safety.
Since the end of the war, princess Jin has been struggling to adjust to the life of royalty that she was always destined to live, and despite the queen's best efforts, the stubborn princess has been dodging suitors left and right. Could the Fire Lord be the one to tame her?

Summary
Sir Roger Wessyng, knight of Anglerre, raised from the ranks after serving his Lord Prince Edmund, finds himself dragged into a secret war that threatens not only the hard fought security of the Haikk system, but the very Ecclesiarchy itself. This beyond heretical relationship is one he is trying to keep hidden, while avoiding its dissolution for reasons he cannot fathom or understand.
It was difficult enough to survive the battle he was knighted for, and the campaign that gave him glory. What is next will be even harder to come out of unscathed...

Summary

Even worse, he is given a role as intermediary between his Imperial Guard and their mysterious alien allies, the Eldar. Clueless to their culture, customs, and language, he is hardly a good choice for the role, but facing certain death if he returns to his human comrades, he doesn't have much of a choice.
Will he survive? Will he find success in his role? More importantly, can he avoid a disturbingly close Ranger that has, for some reason, become interested in him?
