Iruka has had a lot of reputations over the years.
Some, he’s happier to shirk than others. The current iteration of hard-ass-chunin isn’t the most flattering, but it has been hard won. It took a lot of concentrated effort to erase his reprobate childhood then his promiscuous late teens from the culture consciousness of his peers.
Still he knows what incensed jonin with bruised egos call him behind his back.
