Shidou y Sae siempre han sido amigos, pero cuando sus castas fueron descubiertas, dieron un apso más adelante, aún sin la aprobación del hermano pequeño Itoshi. Pero todo se descontroló cuando una noche no usaron preservativo, haciendo que Sae terminara embarazado; a los 14 años. Si, 14 años. Pero Shidou no se alejó, apoyo a Sae, y empezó a buscar trabajo para intentar ayudar a Sae con lo que ocupará. Pero fue hasta que Sae decidió decirle a sus padres, los cuales enojados, lo echaron de casa. Sin rumbo, tuvo que quedarse en la casa de los Ryusei, los cuales lo acogieron muy bien. Siguió con la secundaria, y siguió haciendo lo que más amaba: jugar fútbol, esperando que a su hijo le gustará el futbol en el futuro.
