    Thirty days before the conclave, Sister Eve Trevelyan of Haven keeps to her sacred oaths while Commander Cullen fights against his lyrium withdrawal. Neither of them understands why the other feels familiar, only that their first encounter leaves echoes neither of them can fully explain.

    As the Breach spreads like a rampant disease across Thedas, Eve becomes the key to healing the sky. Commander Cullen vows to keep her from being consumed by The Mark, even as duty demands he remain only her sworn commander.

    Even if it costs him everything.

    It does.

    Redcliffe shatters time itself.

    A wound tears into the Fade, binding their souls with echoes of a future that no longer exists. A future where Cullen keeps his vow, and Sister Eve survives long enough to watch the world end.

    The Inquisition has fallen. The false god has prevailed. Lady Knight Eve, commander of the last heretical resistance, must return to Redcliffe Castle, where time first broke, and rewrite history before the resonance consumes the world a second time.

They depart under the guise of a political campaign across Thedas to strengthen the Inquisition’s global ties and assert goodwill towards the new Divine. It’s all a front, of course.
