A brief silence.
“‘Type?’” Izuku questioned at the same time as Kacchan.
“Yes, type,” the host laughed. “Like, who would they date? What are they into?”
The blood drained from Izuku’s face and he shot a panicked look at Kacchan. The blond didn’t seem to be faring any better, his gaze zeroed in on Hanazawa as if he could will her to change the question to something else.
Izuku... didn't know the answer to that.

After the end of the Ichor Operation, many of the recovered toons were left with harmless similarities to their twisted forms, ranging everywhere from slightly enlarged limbs to small new abilities. “If Dandy is there,” Stellam said. “It is important to this one.”
A prickle of warmth and unease formed in Dandy’s chest. Those words were quite familiar regarding Darling, as every child is important to their mother. Hearing it from someone else, someone he considered a friend, someone outside his relative family—it was new in unsettling ways that brought a fresh wave of emotion. He couldn’t quite place it but it was a greedy thing that sat in his belly, wanting more nourishment.
“You’re important to me too,” Dandy said slowly. “Because yer my friend.”
Stuck to his own devices in a small countryside town and no real ambition, Dandy finds his world shifting to something far more interesting when he lands a surprising friendship with a visitor outside his usual realm.
OR alternatively, young country bumpkin Dandy becomes besties with a cool young alien/celestial being, the fic*thumbs up*
Update: Bro I really wanted to finish this but now I just feel ill whenever looking back given the new information dropped about Qwell or rather the victims of the situation. I’ll leave the fic up but uh I won’t be posting any more chapters.
