The discovery of Immunes founded WICKED; an organisation dedicated to find a cure to The Flare. All the kids taken there have a meaning, a purpose. There was only one group whose purpose was different from the rest.
Group S had nothing to do with the cure and everything to do with the alternative to the lack of one. Unknowingly and unwillingly, the kids assigned to the experiment were worlds apart from the Subjects.
They were mindless soldiers.
