Summary
In a last ditch attempt to avoid war after Viserys's death, Alicent visits Rhaenyra with a plot to put her on the Throne. With Rhaenyra's family living at the Red Keep again, they are forced to face their past and find a way forward.
“Two days ago we had dinner together, as a family. And although the children bickered, I could not help but—,” her voice caught in her throat, “—but hope that we could yet repair things.” When Alicent said we, Rhaenyra knew she meant just them. “A day after that, and we were on the brink of war.” She looked up, and Rhaenyra was surprised to see familiar damp eyes. “I’m tired, Rhaenyra. I am very tired. I am tired of forcing my children into roles they do not want. I am tired of fighting for a power I never cared for. And I am exhausted, Rhaenyra, of hating you.”

Summary
In her second year of college Alicent gets paired with the most gorgeous girl she’d ever seen walking around campus for the past two semesters. Never close enough or brave enough to even say hi, she now finds herself living in a small two bedroom dorm with the unnaturally beautiful creature that also happens to be exceptionally polite, and kind, and respectful, and cute.
And also apparently absolutely clueless about how much Alicent is getting so infatuated with her, that she is starting to think this is what being on the brink of spontaneous human combustion must feel like, especially when Rhaenyra keeps getting closer and closer every time they talk.
Or, Rhaenyra is all those things and more, but she’s definitely not clueless. Not about Alicent.

Summary
“I swear before the gods, if you do to her what you did to my mother, no force in this world will stop me from killing you this time.”
Rhaenyra Targaryen had sworn she would never again show mercy to the woman who shattered her heart and placed her father’s crown upon her own head.
But when a storm-lashed night leaves Alicent Hightower suspended between life and death, everything Rhaenyra has spent years burying claws its way back to the surface.
Some bonds do not rot with time.
Some loves do not die with betrayal.
And some fates will always find their way back to one another, no matter how desperately they are denied.

Summary
‘’We cut off the west, surround Kings Landing with the dragons, and we can have every green head mounted on spikes before the fucking moon turns.’’
Rhaenyra nodded, leaning over the table and looking at the pawns with determination, knowing full well that that it was time for her to rise, to prove to everyone that her father didn’t name her his rightful heir for nothing.
‘’An appropriate course of action, husband, but I would rather keep the green heads on their shoulders where they belong,’’ she smirked, ‘’after all, it would be such a waste, watching that beautiful face rot.’’
OR
In which Rhaenyra and Daemon foresaw the Hightower usurpation coming from a mile away and took decided steps to end the war before it began, bridging the gap in House Targaryen in the oldest and peaceful way there ever was.
Marriage.
Her decision wasn’t entirely political, she had to admit that.
Only she didn’t know how much her children were actually pleased by these turn of events.
