He should’ve known that dead weight doesn’t feel the way living bodies do. That every ounce of it doubles when it’s someone you love.
All he can think about is getting Buck back into his arms, keeping him there, holding tight enough as if he can force the life back into him by sheer proximity. The thought of letting the line slip through his fingers feels worse than dying, but he calls for more slack anyway, watching as the distance grows between them.
Those were priceless seconds he just wasted, he thinks.

Summary
This time, when Oikawa pulls him in for a kiss, it feels like fireworks are exploding in Sugawara's gut. He feels as if he's floating away on a cloud, eyes fluttering close as his body melts into the kiss.
"...How long are we going to keep this a secret?" Oikawa mumbles between kisses.
Sugawara struggles to steady his train of thought. His brain is all foggy, each kiss dragging him into a dream-like state. "Mm. Depends on when you're willing to lose."
or, oikawa and sugawara are dating in secret, and whoever breaks first, loses. this surely does not lead to chaos.

Is Dan Heng a selfish person? Most would likely disagree.
This sole adjective seems like the complete contradictory to what the Express had thought about their guard, who was always more commonly described as aloof or solitary, amongst others such as knowledgeable and rational as well, he decides to conveniently leave out March’s description of himself as, per her words, “cold but a softie”. Dan Heng hears these words described of him numerous times by both the members of the Express and the people of the planet he had set foot in to trailblaze; and he would agree with a muted nod.
But what happens when a certain trailblazer comes crashing into his ideals, and makes Dan Heng question his faith, in both himself, and the idea of an unchanging future?
