When an Albino woman vanishes, her sister is left in despair.
The public loses interest.
Sherlock Holmes and John Watson do not.
As John and Sherlock’s search leads them deeper and deeper into London’s criminal underground, it affects their physical and mental health. They keep dancing around eachother, and frankly, it’s hard enough to figure out your own emotions. The extra bit where people keep trying to murder them is frustrating. Unfortunately for everyone involved, Sherlock Holmes is very difficult to kill.
OR:There were moments when I looked at Sherlock and remembered the man I'd first met in the laboratory at Bart's. Brilliant. Arrogant. Impossible.
Then there were moments like this.
Sherlock, who was standing in the fading afternoon light, playing a lullaby for a sleepy little girl because she'd had a long day.
Sherlock, who pretended not to care and then went on and cared more fiercely than anyone I'd ever known.
Sherlock, who was looking at me in a way he never had before, gentle and soft and warm and a little melancholic.
I gave him a sad smile.
The music carried on, and for a brief moment, the world was held at bay beyond the windows of Baker Street. -

John’s breath was coming fast now, and hard, his eyes boring into Sherlock’s and so plainly displaying everything Sherlock had been thinking all day, that tension pulled taut like a bowstring, that need for closeness that had been denied them for such an unbearably long time.
Sherlock gets roped into a case in Moscow on his brother's insistence, but finds that he can't do it without John.
